After a 29-year career in IT and marketing at Hewlett-Packard, Steve Baker, administrator, retired to the desert with his husband Doug Nagel. Steve returned to work for 10 years in the insurance business with 1st Community Insurance Services/NFP. Steve is a proud member of CV Singers, the chorus arm of CVCV, and supports Coachella Valley Classical Voices behind the scene.
Steve has served on the boards of Opera San Jose, San Jose Chamber Orchestra, and the Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus (PSGMC). Mr. Baker currently serves as Vice President of the Desert Winds Freedom Band. Steve has been a first tenor with the PSGMC since 2010.
